The warmth and fun of 4th of July weekend is the perfect opportunity to cool off with Boss Lady Amy's Cherry-Almond Smoothie (recipe below)!

SUMMER RECIPE - Cherry-Almond Smoothie

1 C plain yogurt

1 ½ C frozen pitted cherries

¾ C almond milk

½ tsp. almond extract

1 TB honey

Add all ingredients to blender and process on high speed for 20 seconds or until well-blended.

Makes 2 servings. Enjoy!

Lindsay Erstad
Lindsay is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She comes to Chowgirls with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.
She wants to live in a world where Dominos has vegan pizza.
As an Assistant Event Specialist at Chowgirls, she’s excited to be a part of a team that is passionate about providing delicious and sustainable catering.
When she’s not eating chips & guac, you can find her cheering on the MN Twins, dancing to Beyonce, and spending time with her best friends otherwise known as the Sassy 7.

Tony Perella
Tony wants to live in a world where work and play go hand in hand. Where you can have fun at your job, enjoy time with your friends and family and have a general balance of getting good work done, maintaining positive physical and mental health and still find the time to party like a rockstar.
As an Operations Manager, he’s excited to take his past experiences in building efficient and practical systems that will help everyone not only do their job better but find comfort in the teamwork and support that enhance the daily grind and make your job a fun place to work while growing the business.
When he’s not getting settled into his new position, you can find him generally in his backyard entertaining friends, playing with his pups and enjoying time with his lovely fiance, Chuck, at their home in South Minneapolis.

Daria Kushnir
Daria comes to Chowgirls Killer Catering with over two years of catering planning experience.
She wants to live in a world where it's socially acceptable to have donuts at every meal.
As an Event Specialist, she’s excited to be a part of a super-ballin' team that really cares about each other and all their clients.
When she’s not at Chowgirls, you can find her following the drama of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, spending time with friends and family, kickboxing, and sipping cocktails at Tattersall.
